Jay Francis, brings an impressive wealth of experience and passion to our club.
Jay has been immersed in the world of racket sports from a young age, starting with squash and tennis at the tender age of 4. With both parents as professional players and coaches; it's no surprise that Jay quickly excelled in representing his province and England teams from the age of 8.
While Jay achieved success at the highest elite levels in squash, his true calling emerged in club growth and coaching. With international coaching experience ranging from beginners to world tour professionals, Jay honed his skills since coaching adults at just 11 years old.
For 18 years, Jay managed an 18-court facility in Holland, catering to around 2500 players, showcasing his expertise in club management. Additionally, Jay made a remarkable transition to professional golf coaching, earning PGA professional qualification after a mere four months of play.
Now, Jay has set his sights on Pickleball, quickly ascending to the higher echelons of Canadian Pickleball, reaching the 5.0+ level in a remarkably short time. His dedication to personal growth is evident in achieving an Elite level coach/player status, including obtaining a PPR PRO coach rating.
In his debut outing at an Open level event, Jay clinched the Gold, setting the stage for even greater accomplishments to come!
